"The City of Mesa Household Hazardous Materials Facility collects household hazardous materials and other materials such as used oil, pool chemicals, cleaners, paint, batteries, and many more! These items do not belong in the trash barrel, recycle barrel, poured down the drain or poured into the street.  At the Facility, these items can be reused, recycled, or disposed of properly to prevent pollution.  There is a convenient drive-thru to provide a quick and easy drop-off process. Plus, the Facility offers a swap shop where items that are still usable are given away to City of Mesa residents for free! Exclusions and limits apply. Check out MesaRecycles.org for more information. "
