As originally envisioned, Dobson Ranch is a mixture of single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes designed around a common theme–the lakes. Nestled within the community are several schools, churches and a municipal complex which includes a lakeside park, a police substation, a fire station and a branch of the city library. Convenient access to transportation, employment and shopping are essential to the vitality of every community. Dobson Ranch is fortunate to be adjacent to two busy freeways for direct routes to neighboring cities. Commercial businesses of all types are located close by.
We are officially celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Dobson Ranch! We have many exciting things coming to you in the new year and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. Our events are going to be bigger and better than ever, and there will be many new surprises in store for you. This celebration is in honor of the Ranch’s history dating back to the early 1900s when Dobson Ranch was a large cattle ranch managed by Wilson Wesley and John Henry Dobson. Then, moving forward to 1973, the homes and lakes were being developed, and Dobson Ranch would eventually become known as the largest homeowners association in Mesa, AZ.
