Pavement Pounders

Do you want to start running, find some friends to walk with or train for an endurance run? Then it’s time to tackle your fitness goals with your friendly neighbors.

The Dobson Pavement Pounders promotes running, walking and friendships in the Dobson Ranch and surrounding neighborhoods.

Whether you are a recreational walker, novice runner or advanced marathoner, this club offers support, weekly meetings and fellowship, afterwards, to keep you motivated and moving.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee reviews communications such as the Dobson Ranch website, Ranchers' RoundUp magazine, community email blasts, and social media posts to ensure that there is a consistent message being sent to our residents. The Committee also oversees all branding throughout Dobson Ranch on signs, seating, lighting, and more.

Garden Club

Do you enjoy digging in the dirt? Then this Club is for you! The Garden Club is open to all Ranch residents - no matter if you have a garden or a green thumb. The Garden Club offers residents an opportunity to learn all about gardening through special programs and from guest speakers who cover a wide range of gardening topics. The Club also tours gardens on the Ranch, takes occasional field trips and plans boat floats on a Ranch lake.

Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month from October through May at Saratoga Recreation Center. If you love flowers, vegetables, trees, cacti, succulents - any aspect of gardening - come join this friendly growing group!  Contact Donna Chapman at drchap08@nullcox.net for more info. 

Fishing Club

The Fishing Club partners with the Recreation Department every October to help produce our Outdoor Expo and Kids Fishing Derby. Near October, meetings are held as necessary. Contact Ric Hoks at richoks@nullaol.com or call the Recreation Department at 480-831-7464 for more information.

Water and Lake Management Committee

This committee's role is to provide input and recommendations to the Dobson Association Board of Directors and Staff regarding matters that pertain to the use of water on the Ranch.

The Water and Lake Management Committee meets the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Chica Room at La Casita Recreation Center. No meetings in July or August.

Women’s Club

Most events will be held at La Casita on the 4th Tuesday. Specific dates and places will always be in the Ranchers' RoundUp, as well as descriptions.

Club activities currently include Bunko and Out to Lunch. The Women's Club may also get involved in various charitable projects throughout the year.
