Waterworks Board of Directors Meeting @ La Casita Recreation Center
Jan 15 @ 6:00 pm

The Water Works is a 204-unit complex of condominiums located on Baseline Road between Pennington and Longmore Avenues.  Residents are especially proud of the interior common area, which features ponds and fountains and is landscaped with many trees and flowering shrubs for a refreshing tropical feel. The complex also includes a pool, heated spa, Ramada and picnic area.

There are four different floor plans and each unit has covered parking. Monthly fees vary per unit (based on size) and are used to pay for water, insurance, sewer, trash and all outside maintenance of each unit. A special assessment was passed in 2003 to resurface the private street and parking lot.  As with all sub-associations, the residents of Water Works also pay a quarterly assessment to the Dobson Ranch Homeowners Association.

Water Works residents receive a quarterly newsletter and have established a neighborhood Block Watch program.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the La Casita Recreation Center.  The annual meeting of homeowners is held in April. No meeting in December.

Aqua Zumba with Karen @ La Casita Recreation Center Pool
Jan 16 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Come out and try this awesome class! Aqua Zumba keeps the Zumba Fitness workout party going in the pool. Aqua Zumba is classic aqua aerobics with Latin flavor added to regular Zumba routines. The typical land-based Zumba dance steps, such as cha-cha, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, and mambo, are exaggerated and slower in water, so the water tempo is half the land tempo, creating a low-impact work out for all fitness levels. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles. Punch Cards may be punched one time for residents only per class. No additional punches for guests or residents.

Aqua Zumba with Karen @ La Casita Recreation Center Pool
Feb 6 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
