Ranch Neighborhood Tree offers help
Dobson Ranch has a Neighborhood Christmas tree. It is at La Casita recreation center and is designed to provide help during the holiday season. The Ranch tree is patterned after other Angel trees found at malls and churches during this season. There are tags on the tree with the requests of those needing assistance. The tags are numbered so those wishing to help should take a tag, purchase the item needed and return the gift, wrapped and with the numbered tag attached. First, we need the wish list of individuals or families that could use assistance. If you want to participate, call in your name and specific requests. For example, clothing for children, grocery gift certificates or whatever area is a concern. If you would like to provide assistance to a Ranch neighbor, come by and select a tag. Several Ranch clubs have expressed a desire to provide “help” to their Ranch neighbors in these tough economic times. To allow time for the program to work, we need the names of individuals with specific requests by December 5. All donations need be turned into the Ranch tree at La Casita by December 19. The gifts will be delivered to the homes the week of December 22. Please call the administration office 480-831-8314.
Thanksgiving hours for office, centers 
The Dobson Association administrative offi ce will be closed Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday, November 28. The recreation centers will also be closed on Thanksgiving. Only the tennis courts will be available for use. On Friday, November 28, La Casita, Saratoga and Los Altos recreation centers will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; however, Los Altos and Saratoga will not be staffed. The centers will return to regular hours for the weekend.Gobble, gobble!
