9/15/2023 - JUNIOR OLYMPIC POOL AT LOS ALTOS CLOSED!

The Junior Olympic Pool at Los Altos is Closed due to the structural deterioration of the ramada shade structure that will be removed in the near future. See the below photos of the ramada deterioration and rot. These measures are to ensure the safety of you and your loved ones. Once the ramada is removed, the pool will reopen. Please enjoy the Leisure pool at Los Altos as well as the pool and splash pad at La Casita. We anticipate Saratoga being reopened after the FOB update commencing on September 20th. Stay tuned. 8/14/2023 - SARATOGA POOL & FACILITY CLOSED

The Saratoga Pool and Facility are closed until further notice as a result of the ongoing construction. Please do not enter the facility or pool area. We thank you for your patience. 6/14/2023 - LAKE DYE

All lakes will be dyed this week to continue to maintain an ecological balance for the habitats and the appearance of our beautiful community.

So, what does this mean? The lakes are dyed to prevent the sun from passing through the shallow water and reaching the lake beds where aquatic weeds and algae start growing. Blue dye is administered occasionally to prevent large blooms of these unwanted weeds. In the electromagnetic spectrum, some wavelengths are more valuable than others for photosynthesis. The color blue is the strongest inhibitor of UV rays.

May 9, 2023 - LAKE 7 TESTING

Samples were collected from upstream, downstream and in the middle of Lake 7 yesterday for golden algae by Aquatics Consulting & Testing. The results presented that no golden algae was detected nor were there signs of any fish mortality. We may be approaching the end of golden algae season with temperatures in the triple digits expected this weekend.
