The largest of the three recreation centers, La Casita supports a wide variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Children's Playground
Outdoors, the facility has a fenced junior Olympic swimming pool which features a beautiful rock waterfall. For smaller children, there is an adjacent fenced wading pool and shaded grass play area with playground equipment. La Casita also has four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and a sand volleyball court, all lighted for nighttime enjoyment as well.
Junior Olympic Pool
Indoors, there are two multi-purpose rooms. A divider wall can be retracted to combine the larger Grande Room with the smaller adjacent Chica Room. Both rooms have a wood floor perfect for dancing. Each of the two restrooms has a baby changing station. La Casita is equipped with a kitchen for warming food, and features a double sink, electric range, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and granite countertops. A large pass-through window allows food to be easily served from the kitchen to the Grande Room.
Private Function Rental
La Casita Community Center is designed to accommodate weddings, reunions, banquets and many other events, both large and small. Policies regarding the rental of Dobson Ranch recreation centers and the current rental rates may be found on the Facility Rental page.
